Finely hand-crafted knives & quality hand engraving

Recently I've started making my own Damascus. My instructors and friends who have taught me to make Damascus, which I would like to thank are: Shane Taylor, Steve Schwarzer, Wade Colter, Rick Dunkerley, Ed Schempp and Barry Gallagher.

My first damascus was made at Shane Taylor's forge in Nov 1998. Shane said I should make a bar, but I had no idea what to make. Steve Schwarzer told me what to do, I still wasn't sure what pattern I was making. When I got home, the blade was cut from the center of the bar. Boy was I suprised. Now I was hooked!!! The blade is the finished product. The bolsters were started in Washington at Ed Schempp's forge a year latter Nov 1999, as what I call my practice scroll, my first try with powder, then finished at Shane's forge. The knife was completed in July of 2000.
